Summary: The Community Partnership Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with arts and culture partners to host programs at The Center that will engage a broad and diverse audience.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Handles sourcing, outreach, vetting of arts and cultural partners.
  • Negotiates and manages new and existing relationships with arts and cultural partners, ensuring all expectations are met and partnership agreements are in place.
  • Coordinates arts and cultural events and exhibits internally and works in collaboration with Event Production and Reservations staff, as well as partnered organizations to produce these programs.
  • Develop and maintain an annual calendar of arts and cultural events within the annual theme(s), including achieving our goals to prioritize partnerships that draw diverse LGBTQ artists and audiences to The Center.
  • Responsible for achieving outcomes, managing expense budget, responding to inquiries.
  • In collaboration with the communications and marketing team, develop outreach and marketing for all arts and culture related events.
  • Operate and maintain the reservation system software to ensure all arts and culture events are scheduled accurately.
  • Ensure programming partnerships reflect positively on The Center, amplifies our mission and brand, and represents the broad diversity of the LGBTQ and allied community while staying current.
  • Identify and develop opportunities that maximize earned income potential and facilitate/support fundraising.
  • Other duties as assigned, including at times, assisting EPR staff with production of other internal and external events.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years professional experience in community building/partnership with an emphasis in arts management.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in navigating community partnerships, arts or cultural administration and management, event production, volunteer/staff supervision, community organizing and outreach.
  • Experience with marketing, ticketing, and managing audiences for arts, cultural and/or entertainment events.
  • Excellent leadership, administrative, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
  • Relationship building and relationship management a core skill set.
  • A flexible, creative, assertive, self-starter with excellent adaptability skills a must.
