- Health Center Manager, Full-Time - 
Camden, New Jersey

Monday - Saturday (Schedule varies/ flexible to work 5 days)

 

Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey, Inc. (PPNCSNJ) provides teens, women and men access to comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care, abortion services, education and information.  We currently have 21 health centers throughout 14 counties in New Jersey. 

Position Summary:

PPNCSNJ is seeking a full-time Health Center Manager (HCM) to manage and direct the health care team to achieve productivity standards and exceptional customer service.  The HCM orders clinical equipment and supplies to fill patient needs and meet financial objectives. In addition, the HCM is responsible for efficient clinic flow and attainment of patient volume goals while ensuring compliance with all regulatory matters, quality initiatives and operational standards.­­

IDEAL QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience:

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other members of the health care team in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Ability to Ensures all Federal, State, PPFA, and organizational protocols and guidelines are followed regarding all services, including but not limited to personnel, fiscal, risk management, safety and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate ability to organize Center workload, set priorities and appropriately delegate assignments.
  • Ability to manage a health Center, staff resources and budget judiciously and resourcefully.
  • Participate in annual budget preparation process and operate within approved budget.
  • Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, support, training, and supervision to assigned staff.
  • Participates in a team approach to patient care, being cognizant of and responsive to the needs of patients and all Center staff.
  • Ability to remain open and non-judgmental towards colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to attend meetings. 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to workplace values of respect, caring, support, effective communication, teamwork & collaboration, accountability and responsibility; practice these values in relation with internal and external customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in support of mission and as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or medical administration. A combination of education and additional years of managerment level experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience preferably in the health care or human services field.
