Paying for PrEP

Most health insurance plans offer PrEP at no cost. This includes private insurance as well as state Medicaid programs. If you don’t have an insurance, you may be eligible for Ready, Set, PrEP, a national program from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that provides PrEP at no cost. In addition, the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture PrEP also offer drug assistance programs, and some states offer PrEP assistance plans.
