The marketplace isn't much help unless you're flat broke. Then there are services that help. Getting them is time consuming. hiv organizations can hook you up. States have assistance programs to help with the premiums. Ryan White really helps many thousands of people.
Having "access" is great, but it doesn't do ANY good if I can't afford it. ACA allows me to pay $650/month verses $2600/month for insurance, plus the deductibles, co-pays, etc...So the choice for me is...A) pay the $2600/month for insurance and live on the streets because I couldn't afford my mortgage/rent, or B) live where I'm living and forget the insurance and enjoy what time I would have left!

when the government is willing to pay 1,000,000.00 per rocket shot of to bring down sadam hussein for NOTHING...and then deny health care to people whose very survival depends on it (from a virus the government created in its labs)...thats pathetic...it tells ur more about the country we live in for sure...they will spend your tax dollars the way THEY SEE FIT...period!!
