The Center for Public Health and Human Rights (CPHHR) at John Hopkins University and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, have formed a partnership on HIV prevention for men who have sex with men (MSM) in Africa, according to an amfAR statement. The partnership will help strengthen amfAR’s existing MSM initiative, which began by setting up a public policy office in Washington, DC, and by awarding almost $2 million in grants to frontline organizations in African countries. CPHHR will provide technical assistance to grantees, as well as collaborate on high-level consultation of public policy.
