Kenyan president Daniel arap Moi has abandoned the prevention main road for a denial detour. In July, he called on Kenyans to abstain from sex for two years, citing embarrassment at how many condoms Kenya imports. Meanwhile, Southern Africa Catholic Bishops’ Conferences is debating whether the church should relax its ban on condoms. No word yet on whether Moi plans to practice what he’s preaching.
