This might sound crazy, but what if, just what if, the number of "black artists" are low, because there weren't a lot of black artists that actually wanted to contribute? Forcing people into something for the sake of diversity is more racist than an unenforced lack of racial diversity. Why can't people just be people, instead of "white people" and "black people"? Would it not be better if we didn't have to worry whether someone was black or white or whatever color you want to name, as long as they were a person, that color is just incidental and not a defining aspect?
