I admire your courage and compliment you for moving ahead like you did. I am a gay male and was diagnosed 2 days after Christmas 2003. I was very down for about only 2 months before my first apt with my HIV doctor. I was thinking what my family would do if they found out me being HIV pos. Now 13 years later they don't know I am HIV pos. I pray they never find out!! The way you got HIV would really hit a soft spot with me and probably make me very angry. I know I brought it on myself God Bles

Glad you found a place in the AIDS community. Been positive myself since 2000 and have not been welcome. Feel like a outsider. Left good care in Wisconsin and stuck with no care in AZ. Going back to WI in nine months. Have no choice. My drug plan dont want to pay for my meds here. Wish i could help others like you do but I am not welcome. God bless you.
