What a fascinating and commendable story. Thank you for being so brave and trying to help so many. I am inspired by what you are doing. I wish you much success. I have been HIV + for 22 years and love to hear such an optimistic story. Good luck.
Wish I was there to hug you. I hope someone is.
I don't see the point of this experiment. The HIV drugs are so sophisticated that there is little to be gained from gambling with one's health and well-being. I understand some people are risk takers and that's their decision. I only hope this article doesn't set the unrealistic expectation that at some point going off hiv meds is the goal. For me, the goal was and remains staying alive and well. If I must take a little pill to help that goal, I'm fine with it. Don't fix what ain't broken.

I applaud your courage and your perseverance. No matter the ultimate results, it does appear that this treatment will be a big step forward (e.g., maybe needing treatment once every few months).
