As someone who is HIV+ and found out when they were pregnant with their first child in 1998, it is totally possible! I have 2 boys, both negative. Took Combivir 1st pregnancy and Combivir with anti-nausea drug Compazine 2nd pregnancy (threw up every day 1st one). Had IV AZT during delivery by C-section scheduled 10-days before due date and baby had liquid AZT for 6 weeks after each birth. Both as healthy as can be and negative. And numerous doctors told me to abort when I found out in 1998!

I was diagnosed with hiv 2011 but my husband is hiv negative. I gave birth in 2017 to our beautiful boy who is also hiv negative. I was undetectable through my whole pregnancy and currently still undetectable. During my pregnancy I had my worries but I continued my hiv medications and did what my doctor told me and I vaginally gave birth so if u thinking about having a baby do it. I never breastfed him only formula. If ur thinking having a baby do it take ur meds.
