Tried Capsasin years ago,MD at the time wanted to see if it might work. Was THAT a mistake!I wanted to take a chainsaw to my feet, the analgesics didn't work. Sat on the side of the tub and bawled while I ran some cool water over my feet and tried to wash the stuff off.I have a good resistance to pain so at least to me the pain was more than excruciating.Quit using Neurontin,it caused constipation, and after 3-4 days,my body let everything loose at once in stores or driving. Smoke is only relief.

I participated in the trial held in Austin for this gel patch containing a minuscule amount of capsaicin. It was absolutely horrible, the burning pain from the capsaican was to great and I passed out. Soon dropped out of trial because of side effects and the money offered was enough to be tortured. But that clinic has produced some excellent drug trials that made a difference in the quality of life for many.
