Sunday, April 10, marks the annual National Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day (NYHAAD) 2016. In the United States, about one in four new HIV cases is among young people ages 13 to 24, so NYHAAD is a chance to raise awareness and education about HIV as well as celebrate the young people working to end the epidemic.

NYHAAD is organized by Advocates for Youth, which promotes adolescent sexual health.

This year, you can add your name to the NYHAAD Bill of Rights to show your support for prioritizing the rights of young people in the wake of the AIDS epidemic. The NYHAAD Bill of Rights includes five articles, spelled out below:
