Reading your story is inspiring! Thanks for sharing it. I was diagnosed in 1990 and at the time thought nothing could be worse. But you’re right in that “we’re having a human experience”. It helped shape me to become a better person too - I’m also now a counselor (encouraged by my own counselor years ago). I’m an addiction counselor, and have helped others with addiction and with HIV. I’ve also attended several overseas conventions on both. Thanks again and all the very best to you!
Bravo Kalee !!! ... I have been Poz more years than not, a long time almost the same as yourself. And I agree, I would change things if possible. HIV gave me a License to Live, I could not fail, I was told to get my affairs in order, I had maybe 6 months, I told the doctor ... well if that's the case I am going to have a wonderful time , take care ...she was a bit stunned by my response.
Very inspirational story. I know Kalee and she is truly a beautiful, genuine, caring human. Amazing to go through what she did and come out fighting. Go Kalee!!!

You're amazing, Kalee. Keep doing what you do. You lead by example, by being a proud, strong, badass, resilient and beautiful activist and survivor!
