Beautiful tribute, Sean. The world was a better place because of Dennis. Certainly, my life was richer for his friendship. It is hard to believe he is gone.
Sad to hear this news. A beautiful tribute to a kind man. Big hugs.
Thank you for this, Sean. It helps. Dennis was a good friend as well as a great human resources guy. He helped and supported us all at POZ with intelligence and generosity—and a great deal of good humor and patience. His death leaves a huge hole in the universe we inhabit. He was a gift.
Thanks for this beautiful tribute, Sean. What an awful loss—it tells us that we are still losing people, that the fight against HIV and AIDS is not at all over. I go through that renewed sense of loss constantly; I miss my friends who have died every day of my life, and wish they were still here and wonder what they would say to me. It is important though that we remember them. These very brave, gallant, and valiant people. Perry Brass, author of King of Angels.
What an affectionate portrait of this important man, Sean. I'm so sorry for this loss of yours, and to our community.

Thank you Sean for such an moving portrayal of a dear friend. It is not surprising to know that he was as loved and appreciated in the workplace as he was outside of it.
