On November 29, AIDS Service Center NYC (ASCNYC) held its annual benefit gala, Unmask AIDS. This year’s event saluted the work of “Positive Changemakers” Sean Strub (executive director of The Sero Project and founder of POZ) and Paul Chapman (president of ABC Carpet and Home).

The event was hosted by NFL star Tiki Barber. Through a silent auction, guests could bid on original masks created by top fashion designers Charlotte Ronson, Chris Benz, Michael Bastian, Patricia Underwood, Rolando Santana and Wendy Williams.

For more than 20 years, ASCNYC has helped thousands of New Yorkers living with AIDS and other chronic illnesses reclaim their lives through positive change. It carries out its mission of “helping many, one by one” by building community, connection and stability for those living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS.
